Working in the reconnaissance role makes great demands on your physical fitness. You need to be able to work under pressure at all hours and in all weather conditions, but, above all, you have to obtain and report back what you have discovered in front of your own force and, sometimes from behind the enemy lines.

Any weaponis only as good as the crewman that uses it. So, what about the crewmen? What about their skills and how are they trained? As a fully trained member of the vehicle crew you will be qualified as a driver, gunner and radio operator on all our vehicles. An armoured fighting vehicle is commanded by an experienced non-commissioned officer. His thinking has to be fast and accurate, his judgement sound and he has to be able to anticipate his next move. In time, you could be that vehicle commander. A troop of reconnaissance vehicles in action relies for its success on a constant exchange of information and orders. It is the radio operator's job to receive and send messages accurately - when lives are at stake there is no room for error or misunderstanding.
