* This show will include CVRT's and the Musical Ride. The Household Cavalry will also be part of an arena show involving as many of the Army Corps/Regts that are present during that week. Full details can be obtained from any ACIO in and around the Midlands.
THE HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY REGIMENT
Two troops will deploy to Norfolk to enhance their dismounted skills, and practice Support troop skills. This will include the use of explosives, shooting, throwing grenades and firing anti-tank missiles. Later in the month all squadrons will start gunnery training in preparation for firing camp in July. B Squadron are also going down to the West Country for some adventurous training, which will include canoeing, mountain biking and surfing. A troop will deploy to Bovington to assist with the Tank Museum open-air day at the end of the month. Headquarter squadron are planning to have a day's Dragon Boat Racing. C Squadron remain on operations in Bosnia. Meanwhile, D Squadron are also beginning to prepare their vehicles not only for firing camp but also for Ex Eagles Strike, an exercise with 16 Air Assault Brigade.
