THE HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY REGIMENT
December
will provide a number of challenges for the Regiment. The Regiment returned
from a very successful training period on Salisbury Plain at the end
of November. There is now a need to prepare equipment for the next training
period in January. This process will be validated by an inspection by
the REME Chain of Command. A troop will be going to train with 16 Air
Assault Brigade to conduct TALO training, whilst the squadron headquarters
will conduct management training with that headquarters. The Regiment
will be going on a much deserved extended leave period from mid December,
ready to return to a very challenging exercise using the Tactical Engagement
Simulator (TES) on Salisbury Plain.
